Welcome to Ghumo.Live. By accessing or using Ghumo.Live (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Ghumo.Live is a free, no-login web application that helps Indian railway passengers check seat availability, PNR status, live train running status, fares, coach position, vacant berths after chart preparation, and waitlist confirmation predictions. We aggregate publicly available data from Indian Railways (IRCTC, NTES, ConfirmTkt and similar public endpoints) and present it in a simpler format. Ghumo.Live is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Indian Railways, IRCTC, or any government body.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ghumo.Live. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Ghumo.Live fetches train data on-demand from upstream public endpoints. While we make every effort to keep this data current, we make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Train numbers, schedules, fares, availability, chart status, platform numbers, and live positions can change at any moment without notice. Always verify critical travel information directly with IRCTC or the railway station before booking, boarding, or relying on it for legal, financial, or safety-related decisions.

5. Predictions and Calculators

Tools like Waitlist Prediction, Smart Ranking, and Premium Tatkal Calculator return statistical estimates derived from historical data. These outputs are indicative only and are not guarantees of actual confirmation, fare, or availability. Decisions you make based on these predictions are at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

The Ghumo.Live name, logo, design, original written content (guides, FAQs), and the proprietary algorithms behind our prediction and ranking tools are owned by Ghumo.Live and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Train numbers, station codes, schedules and other public-domain railway data remain the property of their respective owners (Indian Railways and its subsidiaries).

You may link to any public page on Ghumo.Live. You may quote short excerpts of our original content with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our original content in bulk without written permission.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Ghumo.Live links to and depends on third-party services including Indian Railways, IRCTC, ConfirmTkt, Google Analytics, Google AdSense (when enabled), and Google Fonts. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms.

Ghumo.Live may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar networks. Ad content is selected by the ad network and does not constitute an endorsement by Ghumo.Live. Clicking an ad takes you to a third-party site governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy. 9. Service Availability

Ghumo.Live is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. Upstream sources (IRCTC, NTES) experience scheduled and unscheduled outages frequently; during such periods Ghumo.Live’s tools may return partial, stale, or no data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghumo.Live and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Ghumo.Live, its owners, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to missed trains, lost bookings, financial loss, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the Service shall not exceed INR 100 or the equivalent.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghumo.Live and its operators from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or block access to the Service from any IP address, network, or user-agent that violates these terms, abuses our infrastructure, or otherwise endangers the Service for other users. We may also discontinue the Service entirely at our sole discretion.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
